If you are a musician looking to reignite your creativity and are wanting to be writing and recording more of your own music, consider signing up for our BeMajor Academy summer program: 4 courses in 8 weeks.

Starting at the end of June 2021, we will offer the ‘Reigniting Our Creativity’ and ‘Building Blocks of Music’ courses. These classes are great for getting back to your creative flow and developing the fundamental language of music creation.
Then, at the end of July, we will move on to our ‘Songwriting by Heart’ and ‘Basics in Music Production’ courses, which will get you writing and recording your music in no time!
By the end of the series you will be writing and recording more songs that you love and will be ready to share them with the world.

Reigniting Our Creativity
This creative mindfulness track is designed to help you get back into your creative flow. We’ll be working through the current areas of resistance in your creative process to get you back to creating meaningful and authentic reflections of your spirit. This 4-session module is for anyone who knows they have creativity in their soul but needs a little extra guidance in getting back into their groove.
Building Blocks of Music
The words ‘Music theory’ often sends chills down musicians’ spine and bring back nightmares from high school or college professors forcing them to analyze endless Bach Chorales and Figured Bass! This workshop is designed to help reclaim your love of music and to learn how to harness the ‘rules’ of music to your advantage, to get you creating and playing music with ease and deeper understanding.
Songwriting by Heart
This 4-session module will take us through different aspects of the song writing process. Throughout the journey you create your own original songs while learning a number of creative techniques to getting your songs finished. Topics will include; generating ideas, crafting lyrics, song structure, setting up your workspace, capturing ideas, creating writing rituals and much more.
Basics of Music Production
Do you have lots of songs and want to learn how to record and capture your ideas? This 4-session module will get you started with the basics of music production so you can start recording your songs and creating demo quality productions. While becoming a professional sound engineer takes years of experience, there are some very simple and cheap ways to get started and on your way to making your music sound more polished and professional.
