Reigniting Our Creativity
This creative mindfulness track is designed to help you get back into your creative flow. We’ll be working through the current areas of resistance in your creative process to get you back to creating meaningful and authentic reflections of your spirit. This 4-session module is for anyone who knows they have creativity in their soul but needs a little extra guidance in getting back into their groove.
Building Blocks of Music
The words ‘Music theory’ often sends chills down musicians’ spine and bring back nightmares from high school or college professors forcing them to analyze endless Bach Chorales and Figured Bass! This workshop is designed to help reclaim your love of music and to learn how to harness the ‘rules’ of music to your advantage, to get you creating and playing music with ease and deeper understanding.
Songwriting By Heart
This 4-session module will take us through different aspects of the song writing process. Throughout the journey you create your own original songs while learning a number of creative techniques to getting your songs finished. Topics will include; generating ideas, crafting lyrics, song structure, setting up your workspace, capturing ideas, creating writing rituals and much more.
Songleaders As Space-Holders
If you have the sacred opportunity of leading others through music, be it in crafting worship, teaching children or guiding a community in prayer, this 4-session workshop will help walk you through the tools and techniques used by experts in the field. In this workshop you will learn to fully embody the music in order to communicate it more effectively, to craft a prayer experience that fits you and your community’s collective voice and to remind yourself of your sacred responsibility to hold space for your community in times of need.
Basics of Music Production
Do you have lots of songs and want to learn how to record and capture your ideas? This 4-session module will get you started with the basics of music production so you can start recording your songs and creating demo quality productions. While becoming a professional sound engineer takes years of experience, there are some very simple and cheap ways to get started and on your way to making your music sound more polished and professional.
